Terms of service

Atuals is the working name of Renato Dinis, an independent developer based in Portugal. There is no company behind it and no team. When these terms say "we", it is one person.

Free. The blog, the tutorials, the YouTube channel, and the starter kits we give away. No account needed, no strings.

Paid. Digital kits sold through Gumroad, and the Build With AI Club community hosted on Skool. Both are bought and billed on those platforms, under their terms as well as these.

Client work. Automation and AI integration projects. Those always run under a separate written agreement, and that agreement wins wherever it differs from this page.

Read it, share it, quote it with a link back. Don't hammer it with automated traffic, don't try to break into it, and don't use anything here to do something illegal or to harm someone else.

We can change or remove any part of the site whenever we want, and older tutorials get retired as the tools they cover change.

Anything you download - free or paid - is yours to use in your own projects, including commercial ones. What you can't do is resell it, repackage it, or publish it as your own product.

Where a kit bundles third-party code, that code stays under its own licence and those licences ship inside the download.

Payments, invoices and refunds for paid products run through Gumroad and Skool, so their refund policies are the ones that apply.

We build small tools to run this business and connect them to the APIs of platforms we publish on. They are internal: single operator, no sign-up, no other users, and no access to anyone's data but our own.

Atuals Ads uses Meta's Marketing API to create and measure our own ad campaigns on our own ad account.

Atuals Shorts Publisher uses TikTok's Content Posting API and Login Kit to upload short videos we produced ourselves to our own TikTok account, and nothing else. It reads basic profile information only to confirm which account it is authorised against. It stores no TikTok content, collects nothing from other TikTok users, and shares nothing with anyone.

Neither tool is offered to the public, and neither processes personal data belonging to third parties. What we do hold is covered in the privacy policy.

The site and business run on Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics (site stats), Meta (advertising), YouTube and TikTok (video), Skool (the community) and Gumroad (digital products). Their terms apply to you on their platforms, not just ours.

Everything here is provided as is. The tutorials reflect what worked when they were recorded, and the AI tools they cover move fast enough that some of it will be out of date before you read it. Test anything before you depend on it, especially anything that spends money or touches production.

We don't promise the site stays online, that a kit fits your setup, or that following a tutorial produces a particular result.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost data, or any indirect damage from using the site, the kits or the tutorials. Where liability can't be excluded, it's capped at what you actually paid us, which for most of what is here is nothing.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or anything else the law says can't be limited.

If these terms change, the new version goes up on this page with a new effective date. Carrying on using the site after that means the new version applies.

Portuguese law governs these terms, and the courts of Portugal handle any dispute that can't be sorted out by email first.
